South Punjab is blessed with

A. Historical Places

  • Architectural monuments
  • Like shrine of Shah-Rukn-e-Alam, Musa Pak Shaheed, Bahaudin Zakriya & other Sufi’s and saint
  • We also have old traditional Hawalee’s which are decorated with art work, like Painting, wood carving, mirror work & mosaic tiles

We have Ancient forts like Multan fort, Fort Abbas, Fort Darawar & Noor Mahal

  • Fort Darawar is famous for car rally as Paris Dakar rally. Which happen in France and is a source of attraction to French people for tourism
  • We also have a hill station Fort Manroo in south Punjab for tourism

B. Agriculture

  • South Punjab region is famous for quality crop production of cotton, wheat, Sugar cane, mangos and citrus
  • We were lacking international airports for exports. Which most recently has been approved by the Honorable Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani and construction work is expeditiously under process.
