I am proudest of my role in pioneering to establish the FIRST EVER "Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry" in the History of Pakistan. SPWCCI has done great efforts to bring awareness among the women of South Punjab and made them Active and worked as a change agent in the deprived areas of South Punjab , and also linked
 
  the business ladies of South Punjab to the International Markets and enhance their skills.

South Punjab Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry is the first ever women chamber in the history of Pakistan. South Punjab Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry “SPWCCI” headed by Mrs. Aneela Iftikhar as its Convener and Ministry of Commerce issued the license vide Registration No. 47 dated 3rd July 2008 to SPWCCI.

The Security & Exchange Commission of Pakistan issued Certificate of Incorporation to SPWCCI on 13th Sep, 2008.The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry issued Membership to SPWCCI in Jan, 2009.

Mrs. Aneela Iftikhar President SPWCCI was also accorded Executive Membership of FPCCI in Jan 2009, which is the unique honor of being the first Lady Executive Member, FPCCI in whole Pakistan.

The Launching Ceremony of the Event was performed by the Honorable Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani Prime Minister Islamic Republic of Pakistan, on 11th April 2009 in the SBP Auditorium, Multan. The Ceremony was attended by elites including Mr. Mohibullah Shah, Chief Executive & other Senior Officials of TDAP.

The President SPWCCI, Mrs. Aneela Iftikhar in her address, proposed to hold an International Exhibition by the name of South Punjab Expo 2009 in Multan. The idea was very much appreciated by the Prime Minister.
